Curriculum
Here at Little Stars Family Learning Academy, we believe each child deserves a chance at an exceptional education. Through equal opportunity, your child can receive a solid foundation for future academic building and their endeavors.
Students enrolled in our infant, toddler and preschool programs learn with the Creative Curriculum.
Students enrolled in our elementary programs learn with the Abeka Curriculum.
Arts & Crafts
Throughout the day, children are encouraged to draw and create what they desire. While exploring through creativity, children practice fine motor skills.
Music & Movement
Music is introduced to children to help express their emotions through lyrics, rhythms, and movement. Children can create their own instruments or use provided instruments during our Music & Movement time.
Faith-Based
Children are given the opportunity to explore stories that took place in the Bible and apply the teaching in the story into real life scenarios. Prayer is incorporated throughout the day and each child will have an equal balance of spirituality and education.
Language Development
Language development is focused on primarily with the younger age groups. Through constant communication, reading, and singing, children are exposed to language. Nonetheless, after school programs practice vocabulary.
Mathematics
Children are introduced to math and motivated to apply it to real-life scenarios. With counting chips, small word problems, and books, children will be strong and ready for future academic endeavors.
Outdoor Play
As part of our initiative to promote healthy lifestyles and fight against child obesity, we incorporate outdoor play and exercises to our daily schedule. Along with free play, a variety of sports are introduced to children.
